Contrary to a report in March that said the famed Mitsubishi Evo would cease production at the end of this year, a new report from AutoGuide says the car will live on through 2015.
Amanda Savercool at Mitsubishi’s U.S. operations told AutoGuide, “At least for here in the U.S., Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc. (MMNA) is committed to introducing the 2015 model year Lancer Evolution.”
The Evo was thought to have lost the battle against the Subaru WRX STI, but it seems like it will have another year to duke it out.
