According to 4WheelsNews, a recall initially thought to include just 372 vehicles has been expanded to cover 5,675 2014 Ford F-150′s. Apparently a gear motor position sensor magnet could have been installed improperly on the truck’s electric power steering rack and this could possibly lead to a loss of control.
Ford has already sent out 260 of the vehicles affected by the recall and the remaining 5,415 trucks are either in dealership lots or currently in transit to dealerships. Ford has halted deliveries of these trucks until the issue is resolved and urges any owners affected by the recall to bring their trucks to dealers.
