Nissan Canada will cut the Cube from its lineup of cars, according to a tweet sent out from the automaker’s account:

The folks at Good Car, Bad Car noticed the Cube wasn’t on Nissan’s webpage any more and asked via Twitter if this means the Cube has been quietly discontinued. Nissan responded with the above tweet.

The front-wheel-drive hatchback/crossover has always been polarizing in terms of its asymmetric looks, but has often been praised as being youthful and providing great value.

Good Car, Bad Car reports that just 183 Cubes were sold in Canada last year and so far in 2014, just 14 units have moved. The hatchback has been sold since 2009 in Canada. There is no word yet on whether or not the Cube will be discontinued in the U.S. as well.
