Aftermarket manufacturer Callaway has managed to extract 627 horsepower and 610 lb.-ft. of torque out of the Corvette’s 6.2-litre V8 engine with the help of a supercharger. The supercharger pokes proudly out of the hood of the Corvette to help with cooling.
Callaway’s conversion squeezes 167 hp more out of the stock Corvette and boosts torque by 145 lb.-ft.
The conversion costs US$22,995 on top of the cost for a healthy C7 Corvette. But is it faster than a Hellcat?
