I’m considering buying a lottery ticket today, because I was browsing the lots up for auction by RM Auctions in Monterey this weekend, and I’m slightly devastated that some of these gorgeous classics cost more than my house. And my entire street possibly.
Although I can’t afford these cars, I can still dream about tying my hair up in a designer silk scarf and cruising around in a pristine Alfa Romeo, pretending I’m in Milan going to meet my male model boyfriend for a picnic in the park. Sorry, I’m getting carried away…
The reason I love old cars is because they each have their own unique stories to tell. They have personalities and although they’re not perfect, the charm they exude cannot be ignored.
