Vancouver, B.C. – Vancouver’s Luxury & Supercar Weekend wrapped up this past weekend, considered by many to be the most prestigious automobile lifestyle event in Canada.

Now in its fifth year, Luxury & Supercar Weekend showcases the latest and greatest of automotive, fashion, art food, wine and spirits, and continues to treat guests to the world’s most exclusive and rare automobiles, making it one of the most engaging social events of the year.

Highlights of this year’s show included a wide collection of vehicles from the likes of Aston Martin, Bugatti, BMW, Ferrari, Jaguar, Lamborghini, Lotus, Maserati, McLaren, Pagani, and Rolls-Royce.

Judging by the crowds assembled around the $2.5-million Pagani Huayra, the futuristic supercar may have been the star of the show. Powered by a 720-horsepower twin turbo engine and wrapped in an exposed carbon-fibre body, the slinky road rocket is both aggressive looking and beautiful.

British automaker McLaren also had a large presence, which included the firm’s stunning new P1. Lamborghinis were in abundance, and the display included the 2015 Lamborghini Huracan LP 610-4, which was making its first public showing in Canada at the event.

Other gems included the opulent Rolls-Royce Ghost Majestic Horse Edition and BMW’s futuristic electric i8. This year’s Canadian Concours d’Elegance classes included a wide array of stunning machines, but the 1937 Bugatti Type 57 Roadster, 1933 Alfa Romeo 6C 1750 GS, and the 1957 Maserati 200 Si that were staged on the main lawn were true show stoppers.
