Top Gear was filming in Canada this weekend

Trail is a small and sleepy town in British Columbia. It just so happened that the Top Gear crew was stuck there over the weekend.

A CBC report says Jeremy Clarkson, as well as the rest of the Top Gear filming crew, were stranded in the B.C. interior due to weather conditions after filming in the South Okanagan and West Kootenay regions. Naturally, Clarkson tweeted about his weekend.

Naturally, Twitter users suggested a handful of various activities to do, but as you might imagine, there’s probably not much to do in a small B.C. town.

One user even suggested he check out a butcher at a local supermarket to learn how to skin a goat, but Clarkson didn’t go for it. Apparently, the local zinc smelter was also closed.

Jon Summerland of the Okanagan Film Commission told CBC that Top Gear wanted to film the Hennessey VelociRaptor, a Ford F-150 Raptor converted into an SUV, over a series of different terrains.

Despite the weather conditions — low lying cloud, to be exact — Clarkson and the Top Gear crew managed to fly out yesterday.
