Hyundai has given the funky Veloster a refresh for its Korean home market.

It’s unclear as to whether or not these changes will find their way to North America, but the 2016 Veloster’s key improvement under the sheet metal — gone is the conventional six-speed automatic in the Turbo model, replaced with a quicker-shifting seven-speed dual-clutch automatic. A six-speed manual is still available, and output from its 1.6-litre turbo-four remains at 201 horsepower and 195 lb.-ft. of torque.

As for the rest of the tweaks, most of them are cosmetic in nature. The interior has been jazzed up with two-tone seats and a new set of gauges, while Hyundai has also fitted the Veloster with a sound equalizer that, according to AutoGuide, lets drivers choose between six different engine sountracks. The exterior changes are just as minor, with new trim around the grille and a different set of wheels.
