Kia will preview its next-generation midsize sedan at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show.
Designed in Frankfurt, Germany, the car will be Kia’s 11th concept created by the company’s European design studio. Kia remained tight-lipped on the car’s details, but did confirm it will be a D-segment model — meaning we’ll see it preview the next-generation Optima to some degree.
Following a refresh last year, the current third-generation Optima has been around since 2011. The base powertrain is a 2.4-litre four-cylinder rated at 192 horsepower and 181 lb.-ft. of torque, while a 274-horsepower 2.0L turbo-four is optional.
This year’s Geneva Motor Show opens its doors on March 3.
