Cadillac has revealed official pricing for the 2016 ATS-V sedan and coupe.
Canadian pricing is still under wraps, but the ATS-V sedan will start at $61,460 and the coupe rings in at $63,360. That pits the ATS-V sedan and coupe squarely against the BMW M3 and M4, which start at US$62,000 and US$64,200.
The price difference isn’t much, but both ATS-V body styles undercut the M3 and M4 by a small margin and have an edge in performance. A twin-turbocharged 3.6-litre V6 is standard under the hood, rated at 455 horsepower and 445 lb.-ft. of torque, and buyers can choose between a six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic transmission.
Given its positioning and U.S. pricing, expect the ATS-V sedan and coupe to ring in around the M3 and M4’s $75,000 price tag here in Canada.
