Things are looking good for the next Jeep Wrangler. AutoBlog reports that the Jeep will forgo a wimpy independent front suspension for a stronger and more easily modified solid axle set up. This is a big win for Jeep fans who love to customize their Wranglers. And if solid axles are good enough for monster trucks, they’re good enough for the Wrangler.
Additional good news is that the next Wrangler will use an aluminum body that’s smaller than the current Wrangler. In a time when cars seem to get bigger with every refresh, it’s good to see some cars losing weight. The future looks bright for Jeepers.
