Hot on the heels of the P1 GTR and 675LT making their debuts in Geneva this week, McLaren has dropped another teaser of its upcoming Sports Series.
Set to debut at the 2015 New York Auto Show, the Sports Series is billed as McLaren’s so-called “entry-level model. The teaser might be just 20 seconds long, but we can see more of the car – including tail lights similar to the P1.
McLaren is tight-lipped about what we can expect under the hood, but chances are the Sports Series will be powered by some version of the company’s 3.8-litre twin-turbo V8 pushing out more than 500 horsepower.
Starting with the Sports Series, McLaren will be classifying its cars into model lines. The 675LT, 650S and Asia-only 625C make up the Super Series, and the range-topping Ultimate Series are comprised of the P1 and P1 GTR.
