Kia has taken the wraps off the 2016 Optima ahead of its New York Auto Show debut next week.
Like the outgoing model, the new Optima’s calling card is styling. The look is all new, complete with styling cues lifted from the Sportspace concept we first saw at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this month.
Details are still thin, but Kia says “multiple engine options” will be available. This means we will probably see a normally-aspirated four-cylinder as the base engine and a turbo-four at the top end of the lineup, along with a hybrid version down the road.
As for what’s inside, Kia says the interior has been reworked and refined with better materials and new technology.
