Mazda’s KODO design language looks good on its cars – and now we know how it would look on a two-wheeled conveyance.

The bike was unveiled today, a day ahead of Mazda’s official event at the Milan Design Week 2015 in Italy. It’s called the “Bike by KODO” concept, a track racer which Mazda says “seeks to express the innate beauty of the bicycle.”

It’s a neat creation, fashioned with a frame made up of just one single sheet of steel and a black leather saddle with red stitching, reminiscent of the 2016 MX-5 Miata. Mazda also says the bike’s overall design echoes the Miata, but we just don’t see it.

By participating in Milan Design Week 2015, the Japanese automaker hopes to showcase its KODO design languace can be applied to more than just cars in its main event, “Mazda Design: The Car as Art.”

Milan Design Week 2015 runs this week until April 19.
