Gallery: The gorgeous custom cars of Quebec’s Salon Auto-Sport

Quebec City – One of the oldest International Show Car Association (ISCA) events brought over 160 custom cars, trucks and motorcycles to the ÉxpoCité exhibition centre in the provincial capitol. Jacques Picard has been the promoter of the Salon Auto-Sport for its 46 years lifetime and continues to make it better each year.

“For 2015 we have increased the exhibition space an additional 12,000 square feet”, said Picard. “Attendance was up on Friday and Saturday. Sunday is looking good so we will have over 20,000 visitors.”

Being part of the ISCA Championship, exhibitors bring vehicles from Ontario, Quebec and New England in their pursuit of valuable points. A highlight this year was a group of cars from the Fast & Furious films. Local talent from the region was top-notch with a 1932 Ford Pick-up built for Francois Bonneville by CCR Technologies, an El Camino owned by Eric Boily and constructed by Showtime Muscle Cars, plus a 1933 Plymouth Coupe with Viper suspension and a HEMI engine built by owner Jerry Leclaire.

Live rockabilly music was performed by local band Manny Jr. and The Cyclones while several pinstriping artists sold artwork and objects in aid of the Children’s Wish Foundation, raising $2,900.
