When a parent looks at their children, hears them laugh or feels a little, delicate hand reaching up to hold theirs, I imagine they feel certain sense of pride and love that only parents can know.
And so when Ferrari brought back Dario Benuzzi, the Italian automaker’s lead test driver, to take all his screaming red babies to the track and drive them back to back, I imagine he feels that same sense of parental pride.
Dario Benuzzi (can we all have names that cool?) has been a fixture at Ferrari since 1969, a time when the automaker was pumping out some of the most beautiful and advanced cars ever built. Ferrari brought him back to the Fiorano development track in Maranello to drive the F40, the F50, the Enzo and the LaFerrari, which are cars that represent huge milestones in the automaker’s past 30 years, and all cars Benuzzi helped develop.
