Rowan Atkinson, the British actor and comedian best known for his role as the lovable Mr. Bean, has officially sold his McLaren F1.

Although the final selling price wasn’t revealed, The Telegraph reports the deal went through Taylor and Crawley, the dealership where Atkinson originally bought the McLaren back in 1997. Taylor and Crawley head David Clark said the sale was “one of the biggest ever deals in the U.K,” hinting the F1 likely sold close to its £8-million price tag. That’s about $15 million Canadian.

Since he bought the car, Atkinson clocked about 40,000 miles with the F1 and even crashed it twice. The most recent collision was in 2011, when Atkinson sent the F1 into a hedge. He was uninjured and the repair, which was completed in 2013, cost Atkinson’s insurance company £910,000 – enough to make it among the largest insurance claims in the U.K.
