Land Rover‘s newest gadget lets you control your car from your cell phone.
Though James Bond might have beaten Land Rover to the punch, the new piece of technology is a seriously cool twist on autonomous car technology. Using a Range Rover Sport as a research vehicle, the technology controls throttle, brakes, steering and even high- and low-range transmission modes at speeds of up to four miles per hour.

This means you can walk alongside your Range Rover as you navigate challenging off-road courses, or more realistically, tight parking spots at a shopping mall. You can use this technology anywhere, as long as you’re within 30 feet of the vehicle and have the key in your pocket.
