Ford has issued a recall over parking brakes that might not fully engage on nearly 8,000 vehicles.

The recall covers vehicles built at the company’s Chicago and Oakville, Ontario, plants between May 4 and May 23 of this year. The 2015-2016 Explorer is affected, along with the 2015 Taurus and Flex. Two Lincoln models – the 2015 MKS and MKT – are also covered.

To fix the issue, Ford dealers will inspect affected vehicles and if necessary, swap out the parking brake assembly. At this time, no injuries or collisions have been linked to the defect.

All told, exactly 7,165 vehicles are located in the U.S., while 799 are in Canada and just one is in Mexico.
