Yesterday, we announced the arrival of the Ferrari 488 Spider and not to be outdone, Motor Trend says that we can expect a drop-top Lamborghini Huracan to debut at Geneva next year. We think a three-way comparison between the droptop McLaren 650S, Ferrari 488 Spider and the Lamborghini Huracan is inevitable and very necessary.
Details about power, weight and pricing are scant, but we can expect the droptop to weigh slightly more than the fixed-roof Huracan coupe and carry a significant price premium.
The Huracan is powered by a refreshingly non-turbocharged 5.2-litre V10 that makes 602 horsepower. The coupe can reach 100 km/h in 2.8 seconds, so expect the roadster to slightly trail those numbers.
