Infiniti has given us our first look at the Q30 hatchback’s interior.
Though it will be the company’s most affordable model, Infiniti says the interior isn’t without its upscale touches such as high-quality materials and a suede-like headliner. The front seats are also positioned slightly higher thanks to an “elevated hip-point,” which according to Infiniti, lends to a better sense of control.

Handout, Infiniti
But look a little closer and there’s a bit of a resemblance between the Q30 and the Mercedes-Benz CLA and GLA – hardly a surprise since the three share a platform. The switchgear, gauges, steering wheel and shift knob are borrowed from Mercedes-Benz, though the infotainment display in the Infiniti is integrated into the dashboard.
We’ll bring you more on the Infiniti Q30 when it debuts at the Frankfurt Motor Show on September 15.
