Cadillac has given us our first official look at the upcoming XT5.
Billed as a replacement for the SRX, the XT5 will debut for the 2017 model year as the first SUV bearing Cadillac’s new naming structure. The official debut will take place this November in Dubai, followed by an appearance a week later at the Los Angeles Auto Show.

The look is familiar – think of the XT5 as an SRX with various design cues from the ATS, CTS and CT6 sedans. The XT5 wears LED daytime running lights extending into the front bumper, as well as a large chrome grille complete with Cadillac’s new wreath-less emblem.
GM hasn’t detailed powertrains just yet, but expect to find the existing 2.0-litre turbo-four and 3.6L V6 engines under the hood. A nine-speed automatic is rumoured to appear and all-wheel-drive will be optional.
