Aston Martin has dished more details over its next new car.
Next year, the long-running DB9 will finally be replaced by the DB11, continuing the line of grand tourers to wear David Brown’s almost legendary initials seen as early as the DB2 in 1950.

This is the badge Aston Martin’s next car will wear.
Handout, Aston Martin
Skipping over DB10 – a name reserved for James Bond’s ride in Spectre – the DB11 is expected to be the first car to ride atop a new platform being developed by Aston Martin with the help of Mercedes-Benz.
Understandably, details are still thin. Expect more to surface closer to the DB11’s launch next year, but Mercedes-AMG’s 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 will likely be offered alongside Aston’s trademark V12. As for the look, we’ll probably see more cues lifted from the DB10.
