The Mercedes-Benz SL-Class is about to get a lot prettier for 2017.
Set to debut at the L.A. Auto Show next week, the facelifted SL-Class convertible is getting a new look. Based on the teaser image, we’ll see a front end inspired by the AMG GT – a rather comely car in and of itself.
Details are still thin on the rest of the SL. Expect some more styling tweaks to the interior, as well as new technology options and features. Powertrain options could be carried over, including the SL550’s and SL63’s V8 engines, as well as the SL65’s V12. Not offered in Canada is a 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6; that’s the base engine in the U.S.
We’ll bring you the latest on the updated SL-Class when the L.A. Auto Show opens its doors on November 18.
