Minivans have undoubtedly waned in popularity, but Chrysler is sticking to its guns and has big updates in the cards for its minivans.
According to Automotive News, Chrysler’s next generation of Town & Country and Dodge Grand Caravan minivans will come standard with a nine-speed automatic transmission, along with optional all-wheel-drive. Currently, the Jeep Cherokee and Chrysler 200 midsize sedans are the first two Chrysler products with the nine-speed gearbox.
In addition, Chrysler’s minivan duo will is expected to deliver improved fuel economy, a redesigned Stow ‘N Go seating configuration and an updated version of Uconnect, Chrysler’s infotainment system that has been highly praised for its ease-of-use.
