Whether you love him or hate him, you cannot deny how funny it is to see Jeremy Clarkson’s face flapping in the wind. The Top Gear host is at it again, this time behind the wheel of the single-seat and windshield-less BAC Mono going about 80 km/h.
The open-air BAC Mono outputs 280 horsepower and goes from zero to 96 km/h in a face-warping 2.8 seconds. When a car this fast and light doesn’t have a windscreen, the results are excellent, both for track driving and for comedic relief.
The first time Clarkson’s face was subjected to such torture, he was behind the wheel of the open-air Ariel Atom, which he adores. Driving the British-built Mono, Clarkson seems rather impressed and says the little car has the same centre of gravity “as a worm.”
