In honour of its 100th anniversary, rumour has it Maserati will debut a new concept car at this year’s Geneva Motor Show.
According to GT Spirit, the mystery model would follow CEO Harald Webster’s wishes and be positioned as a rival to the Jaguar F-Type and Porsche 911.
If the rumours hold true, the concept will likely receive Maserati’s twin-turbocharged V6 engine, as well as the force-fed, 552-horsepower V8 found in the Maserati GranTurismo and the new Ferrari California T.
On top of the speculated concept, the only new reveal Maserati has confirmed thus far is a limited edition of the Quattroporte sedan, honouring Italian fashion house Ermenegildo Zegna.
We’ll bring you the latest from the Geneva Motor Show when it kicks off next Monday.
