Hyundai has dropped two images teasing the new look of its 2015 Sonata sedan.
Set to debut in South Korea later this month, the 2015 Sonata will make its first autoshow appearance in New York this April. Hyundai says the new Sonata adopts the company’s new “Fluidic Sculpture 2.0″ design language, borrowing a look very similar to the latest Genesis sedan.

Hyundai says the interior of the 2015 Sonata will borrow a look and feel from the Genesis sedan.

Inside, the Sonata also follows the look of the Genesis with its horizontally designed dashboard accompanied by decidedly upscale materials aimed at boosting the Sonata’s premium look and feel. The cabin will also adopt Hyundai’s Human Machine Interface qualities, which basically groups various switches by their function in an effort to improve control and simplify use. For example, the in-dash display has been moved up and icons on both the screen and instrument panel are identical.
As for performance, Hyundai hasn’t officially announced any details, but it did promise improved safety and performance features, the latter of which were sharpened on Germany’s Nürburgring.
