Ferrari has signed a deal with Spanish resort PortAventura to build the happiest place on earth, second only to Disneyland.
Known as Ferrari Land, the amusement park will be built on PortAventura’s current property outside of Barcelona, Spain. The park will span more than 75,000 square metres and will boast attractions for “Prancing Horse enthusiasts of all ages,” according to Ferrari, including the highest and fastest vertical accelerator in Europe.
If that isn’t your cup of tea, PortAventura will pamper you with the first Ferrari-themed hotel. Naturally, it will be a five-star building complete with 250 rooms, countless restaurants and a driving simulator, because it is Ferrari Land after all.
The project is said to carry an overall investment of 100 million euro. It will join Ferrari World, which opened its doors in Dubai less than four years ago, as the automaker’s second themed amusement park.
Ferrari Land will open its doors in 2016, but there is no word yet on whether the parking lot will include a section reserved for Ferrari vehicles.
