Nissan has dropped a teaser of the next-generation Murano SUV, which will be headed to the New York International Auto Show next month.
The cryptic teaser image doesn’t reveal much; the only thing we know about Nissan’s next Murano is that it will have LED daytime running lights.That being said, it is entirely possible the next Murano could be influenced by last year’s Resonance concept in terms of design direction, but toned down.
Powertrain details have yet to be confirmed, but if the Resonance again is any indication, we could possibly see a four-cylinder engine paired to an electric motor and a CVT. It’s also possible the current Murano’s powertrain, a 3.5-litre V6 engine paired to a CVT, could be carried over.
The New York International Auto Show kicks off April 16.
