The 2015 OrganiCar is the world’s first organically grown car. Made completely from greenery, the OrganiCar is a car like no other. It utilizes a substantial pine frame and uses thatched bodywork to enhance cabin ventilation while saving weight.
While some hydrogen cars emit only water vapor as exhaust, the OrganiCar produces a steamy trickle of fair trade coffee out the exhaust pipe. This is collected in a reservoir at the rear of the car and can produce a full cup in about 30 kilometres. A great way to enhance your morning commute!
The OrganiCar is also sumptuously trimmed with Mexican blanket seats and pedals perfectly spaced for heel-toeing in Birkenstocks. The OrganiCar doesn’t come with a radio because an early poll of the OrganiCar’s demographic showed that they don’t listen to mainstream music.

The OrganiCar’s designers tried to recreate the feel of a fixed-gear bicycle with the transmission of the vehicle. The OrganiCar has no torque converter and no clutch. It is a direct drive arrangement that requires the engine to be shut off at every stop. While it’s a very effective stop/start arrangement and it helps fuel economy, it is a bit jarring to start and we believe that further development is needed.
