Refreshed 2015 Volkswagen Jetta to debut at New York Auto Show

The popular Volkswagen Jetta, which will have its global debut at the New York Auto Show this week, gets styling upgrades and a host of new safety options for the 2015 model year.

The 2015 Jetta gets new styling touches in the front and rear that increase the sedan’s aerodynamics and help make the car more fuel-efficient. Among other updates, it gets a redesigned grille (that acts as a closable shutter for the radiator), a new bumper and new optional adaptive bi-xenon headlights. In the rear, the trunklid and tail lights have been updated.

New driver assistance options available on the Jetta include blind spot detection, rear-cross traffic alert and frontal collision warning. In addition, the Jetta’s interior gets upgraded materials.

The 2015 Jetta will continue to be offered with a choice of three gas-powered four-cylinder engines (a 2.0-litre naturally aspirated unit, a turbocharged 1.8L and a turbocharged 2.0L TSI), a 2.0L turbo diesel or a 1.4L turbo hybrid.
