The LaFerrari is a car with incredible numbers. Its top speed, acceleration, horsepower and price are all equally shocking. But while hardly anyone could criticize the LaFerrari as being too slow or soft, Ferrari is working on a hardcore, non-street-legal version of the LaFerarri called the FXX, according to a report from Top Gear.
There is no confirmation from Ferrari, but speculation and a video of a LaFerrari FXX prototype running around a track all indicate that there will be an F1-derived turbo V6 powering the beast. A modern F1 heart would make the LaFerarri an exciting car, indeed.
Many are familiar with the extreme Ferrari Enzo FXX and its 599 FXX counterpart. Ferrari says we can expect the LaFerarri FXX to pack a revised suspension system, aerodynamic modifications, racing slicks and a revised electrical system.
