Hot on the heels of announcing a limited production run for the CTS-V Coupe, GM has unveiled pricing for the upcoming Cadillac ATS Coupe.
Priced at US$38,990, the $6,000 premium doesn’t just get you an ATS sedan without its rear doors. The coupe is lower and wider than the sedan, and features its own unique bodywork, much like the BMW 4 Series coupe is to the 3 Series sedan.
And unlike the ATS sedan, the base engine isn’t a normally-aspirated four-cylinder engine. Instead, the 272-horsepower turbo-four is standard, and can be paired to either an automatic transmission, both with six gears.
The range-topping engine is still a 3.6-litre V6 good for 321 horsepower and the only transmission option is a six-speed automatic. Both the turbo-four and V6 ATS Coupe can be had either in rear- or all-wheel-drive configurations.
Look for GM to announce Canadian pricing for the 2015 ATS Coupe next month.
