Ferrari has taken the wraps off its latest custom creation, the incredibly slinky F12 TRS.
Much like past one-off models manufactured by Ferrari, the F12 TRS is based off an existing production model. In this case, it’s the F12 Berlinetta, and just when we thought it couldn’t get any sexier, Ferrari proves us wrong.
Paying homage to the 1957 250 Testa Rossa, the F12 TRS was penned by Ferrari’s Style Centre team at the request of an unnamed client. The TRS features an open-cockpit design with a wrap-around windshield, as well as a tweaked front end and a restyled “airbridge”, first seen on the standard F12 Berlinetta.
Like the 250 Testa Rossa, the cabin is decidedly sparse — the glove box, air vents, sound system and carpeting have been removed in the name of weight savings, while neary every surface is covered in leather, Alcantara and carbon fibre.
The F12 TRS is powered by the same normally-aspirated 6.3-litre V12 in the F12 Berlinetta, rated at 730 horsepower and 503 lb.-ft. of torque. It can still sprint from a standstill to 100 km/h in 3.1 seconds, and of course, the F12 TRS is finished in Rosso Corsa.
