Any day is a good day to drive a classic Corvette

The second generation, or C2, Corvette Sting Ray was probably the most striking car on sale when it was new. Over the course of its four-year run between 1963 and 1967, the Corvette offered huge V8 power, (some had fuel injection) independent rear suspension and, of course, styling unlike anything else on the road.

The folks at XCAR had a drive in a bold, red 1967 Corvette Sting Ray and the classically damp British conditions hardly mattered to the driver. The C2 is just plain cool and it has an authoritative V8 roar to back up those looks. There are many cars that are faster than a 1967 Corvette but there aren’t many that we want more than a classic Corvette.
