Production of the all-new 2015 Ford Mustang will begin on July 14 with the convertible joining in on Sept. 15, Ford reported through its dealer bulletin.
According to a report from World Car Fans, this means that customers will be able to buy the new pony car in fastback form starting on Sept. 9 and the convertible on Oct. 27, which is much sooner than expected.
Originally, it was believed that Mustang production would begin in August, but this means excited buyers can get their hands on the highly anticipated car sooner. In Europe, more than 9,300 people registered for a chance to reserve a new Mustang at a soccer game championship. More than 500 models were reserved in the first 30 seconds reservations became available.
