Acura has postponed deliveries of its range-topping RLX Hybrid sedan.
The automaker hasn’t dished any official details, but Mike Accavitti, Acura’s senior vice president and general manager in the U.S., told WardsAuto a “technical” issue is to blame.
Rumours suggest the exact issue lies with a lithium-ion battery shortage, as well as engineers needing to work out a handful of leftover kinks with the ahybrid all-wheel-drive powertrain.
If all goes to plan this time around, the RLX Hybrid should hit dealers next month.
