If you’re anxiously awaiting the debut of Mercedes’ upcoming sports car, the AMG GT, we have the perfect thing for you.
The German automaker just dropped a trio of new videos speaking with a handful of AMG execs and engineers about the development and fine-tuning of the all-new flagship sports car.
As a refresher, the Mercedes AMG GT will be powered by the company’s new twin-turbocharged 4.0-litre V8 engine, codenamed ‘M178′. In the base AMG GT, it’s expected to send 455 horsepower to the rear wheels via a seven-speed automatic, while a more potent S model is expected to bow later down the road with 503 horsepower.
The Mercedes AMG GT is expected to debut sometime next month and will likely make an appearance at the Paris Motor Show in October. In the meantime, savour the AMG GT’s exhaust note and get excited with all three teaser videos below:
