Where are all these crazy Craiglists ads coming from? Heaps of classics are coming up for sale left and right it seems. This particular listing from Troy Wisconsin states that about 4,000 classic cars are up for grabs and that prospective buyers should hurry.
Old Cars Weekly spoke with an employee at the yard who said that the plot of land that the yard sits on had to be cleared by winter. The employee said that the yard has been in business since 1972 and that 99% of the lot consisted of American cars. Of the 4,000 cars, the employee estimates that around 30 date back to the 1950s and that there are many cars from the 1960s and ’70s.
The cars are hardly in turn-key shape, but if you’re looking for a winter project, why not save a classic that’s on death row?
