Saleen, best known for working its tuning magic on Fords and the Tesla Model S, is promising to squeeze 640 horsepower out of the 2015 Mustang.
According to AutoGuide, Saleen has released official specifications for what it calls the Mustang 302. Like previous Saleen-tuned Mustangs, three levels of performance will be offered, starting with the White Label package.
The White Label version promises to bump up output to 450 horsepower and 410 lb.-ft. of torque. Yellow and Black Label versions will also be offered, complete with a supercharger that will push horsepower and torque up to 640 and 565 lb.-ft., respectively. Unless the customer specifies otherwise, all Saleen Mustang 302s will have a six-speed manual and a 3.31 final drive ratio.
Aside from the additional forced induction, the White, Yellow and Black Label Mustang 302s will be fitted with a modified exhaust, upgraded suspension components and an aggressive body kit complete with a new front bumper, side skirts and brake cooling ducts.
