Welcome to Pros and Cars, a video series that explores how people’s cars help them do their jobs.
In this installment, we meet Thomas Tam, the owner and creator of Demo Soap in Toronto’s Liberty Village. Thomas used to drive a Toyota RAV4, but after his homemade artisan soap business became more successful, he found that the compact crossover couldn’t handle the 900-pound weekly deliveries. Since Thomas is a Toyota fan, he wanted to continue with the brand, so he ended up buying a Toyota FJ Cruiser. He says he likes the FJ’s rugged looks, but, most importantly, it was able to haul all the soap deliveries without any drama. Watch the video above to see how the FJ Cruiser helps Thomas do his job.
