The best way to make a small fortune in racing is to start with a large one. Audi is looking for 18 drivers with 99,000 Euros to spend ($142,200 CDN) to be a part of the upcoming 2015 Audi Sport TT Cup. The series will follow the route of the DTM series beginning in April or May depending on the DTM calendar.
The cars are Audi TT’s with 310 horsepower that are prepared by quattro GmbH for track duty. The drivers will be selected through a multi-stage process starting with track time in Audi TT production models. Audi adds that the winner of the Audi Sport TT cup “can look forward to receiving support in Audi’s GT program.” The series is an exciting (albeit ferociously expensive) way for young talents to enter the realm of GT and touring car racing.
