Jaguar’s mighty C-X75 never quite made it to production, but that doesn’t mean it won’t get its shot at the big screen.

A new report from Autocar says there is a good chance the stillborn C-X75 will make it into the next James Bond movie, SPECTRE, as the villain’s next car. There will be one key change, however — rather than the existing hybrid powertrain, the C-X75 will be powered by Jaguar’s supercharged 5.0-litre V8 engine. Yes, the same snarly V8 as the Jaguar F-Type R.
Jaguar hasn’t confirmed or denied the news, but having the flagship C-X75 star opposite the Aston Martin DB10 makes sense given Jaguar Land Rover, as a company, is providing most of the cars for SPECTRE. And, not to mention, Jaguar’s most recent advertising campaign is centered around a ‘Good To Be Bad’ tagline.
