Set to debut at the New York Auto Show next week, McLaren‘s first car in its entry-level Sports Series lineup will be called the 570S.
We’ve known about this car for quite some time, but this is the first time McLaren is teasing the vehicle without any significant camouflage. And based on the image, the “entry-level” 570S will most definitely live up to the 650S, 675 LT and P1.
Billed as a competitor to the Porsche 911 Turbo, you can expect the 570S to use a detuned version of McLaren’s twin-turbocharged 3.8-litre V8. As the name suggests, it will be rated at 570 PS, or 562 horsepower.
Unless it leaks first, we’ll bring you more on the McLaren 570S when the New York Auto Show kicks off on April 1.
