Following glowing reviews of the ATS compact sedan and successful debut of the ATS Coupe at the Detroit auto show, Cadillac is hoping to expand its ATS lineup with more model variants, according to global brand chief Bob Ferguson.
Cadillac is planning at least one more ATS model, according to Automotive News, and suggestions about a wagon (not likely) or a convertible (more likely) have been thrown around in addition to a high-performance V model, which is expected to debut this year.
“You’ve made the investment. You’ve built a brand within a brand,” Ferguson said of the ATS. “If you have a winner, you should exploit that and offer variations.”
