Bentley, one of many luxury automakers jumping on the SUV bandwagon, has released a short video giving us a glimpse of what the interior will look like in its new Bentayga crossover.
The video seems to allude to a raw, elemental inspiration for the interior, and is full of dramatic music and a lot of lens flare that would make J.J. Abrams proud. The video’s tagline is: “We don’t just see technology. We feel it.”
The video previews a knob that selects different off-road driving modes, an autonomous cruise control feature, touch-sensitive capacitive buttons, a digital gauge cluster, and a feature that might be some sort of night vision display. Of course, there’s also leather and wood trim, but what would a Bentley be if it didn’t have those things?
Check out the other sports car makers jumping that SUV bandwagon
The super expensive and luxurious SUV won’t be very relevant to those of us outside the 1%, but it’s still interesting to think about how this seemingly space-age technology might trickle down to consumer cars one day.
