BMW is bringing back an exclusive performance package for the 4 Series coupe.
Known as the 435i ZHP Coupe, a throwback to a similar package offered on the E46-generation 3 Series, the trimmings emphasize understated performance and production will be limited to just 100 cars.
Thanks to an upgraded intake and new ECU tuning, the 435i ZHP sees a power bump to 332 horsepower, while torque is increased to 317 lb.-ft. for manual cars and 332 lb.-ft. for automatic-equipped models. Along with a freer-flowing exhaust ensuring a louder exhaust note, ZHP models do the zero-to-100 km/h run 0.2 seconds sooner than the standard 435i.
The package is more than just a power bump – ZHP models also see larger brakes all around, as well as adaptive M suspension components with variable dampers and 18-inch wheels. Cosmetically, the package includes a front splitter, rear diffuser and trunk spoiler made out of carbon fibre, as well as unique side skirts and all-black grilles.
Production will begin in July, and if you miss out on the initial run, all of these parts will be available in BMW’s accessory catalogue.
