According to Automobile, Volvo has announced that 265 examples of the company’s very blue and very fast S60 and V60 Polestars are coming to North America.
Volvo previously sold a limited-run of 120 cars in the U.S. that were quickly snapped up. The 265 2016 models are part of a 750-car expansion globally into six additional countries.
Both Polestars are powered by a 345 horsepower 3.0L turbocharged six-cylinder engine, sent to all four wheels via a Haldex all-wheel-drive system and a six-speed automatic. Two new exterior colours – Ice White and Bright Silver – will be offered alongside previously available Black Sapphire and signature Rebel Blue.
Canadian prices are $64,895 for the S60 Polestar sedan and $66,895 for the V60 Polestar wagon.
