Lexus has found a new way to inject more life into its cars.
Teaming up with advertising agency Tricky Jigsaw, Lexus’ Australian division has taken an RC F coupe and coated it with electroluminescent paint. OK, so it might look like an ordinary RC F, but get this – the paint, teamed to a number of electronic sensors and a heart rate monitor, can interpret the driver’s pulse and illuminate the paint in the dark accordingly.
Suddenly, a silver RC F by day is transformed into a 467-horsepower heart rate monitor. It might not seem effective at giving detailed readings of your pulse, but it’s certainly an innovative use of sensors – and a bit of a slap in the face for those who think new cars are lifeless.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D0sQBtmYHOQ
